"I'm still at baby steps with authorship, and a media kit is definitely one of the steps. Chris's presentation was helpful and informative without even a hint of hype. Knowledgeable, practical, and professional."

"I needed the confidence to be sure that I can get my book into the hands of the readers who can benefit from it. I found what I needed in Chris Well’s course. Chris has saved me time and energy teaching me precisely what I will need to have in place, and HOW to create an author website that works. I am encouraged that my readers will more easily find me and my book."

Meet Your Instructor
I've spent more than 30 years experience working at national media brands--I've been a magazine editor, a columnist, a journalist, and a broadcaster, with field experience covering music, publishing, human interest, and more. (There was also that time I was the editor of a bridal magazine. Long story.) As a published novelist, I've written suspense and mysteries for traditional publishers and as a self-published author.
Over my years working in the media, I've seen THOUSANDS of pieces of publicity materials from all sorts of people who wanted access to my audience. I've been pitched by authors, recording artists, filmmakers, studios, record labels, publishers, inventors, sports figures, and more. I can tell you from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE what kinds of materials work--and which are a waste of your time.
In this course, I'll give you simple, step-by-step instructions to make the types of publicity materials that will help you make the right impression on the right people!
"Chris's online courses provided me with a better understanding of what information the media really wants and needs. Chris freely shares his passion, media background and knowledge to help other authors succeed. It's made it easier for me to approach podcasters and for them to select me for an interview."

"I've attended seminars for indie authors on promoting your book, and listened to speakers at conferences on the same subject, but I've never heard anyone with more knowledge on publicity for authors than Chris Well. He's also an excellent instructor!"
